Hey Everyone in Scrappyland....Robbi here today

with a very quick Blog post
Liz a few weeks ago sent all the DT Members a bag of goodies
this consisted of some papers, ribbon, flowers, holly, Xmas trees, die cuts etc etc
and we were to create a "Christmas" themed project.
This is what I came up with and it is in the Shop for the Kaisercraft reveal tonight that Liz has been working very hard on this week to make look absolutely awesome to showcase all our hard work and some of the latest Kaiser collections.

The main criteria was to use the following;- Holly, Christmas trees, small Red Roses and the Ribbon.
I have used one of Papervine's 20cm Wood Frames. these are absolutely awesome for those little off the page items that sometimes we just have to create. But once again I probably went OTT.

What do you think?

this shows the complete frame ... do you see I had to get the Prima girls involved so they ended up as little Santa helpers

This pic shows the tiny little cards I created, very fiddley but fun
I even managed to stamp inside

This shows my Christmas tree. To create this I used Tim Holts Rosette dies, I cut out 6/7 of them and then cut off the straight piece at the back to make them layer. I used some star dust stickles and snow effect flakes, when that was dry I went back and dotted the red stickles in places to make look like lights.

Ok Ladies that's it for this post...but please do go have a look at the shop if you get the chance so you can see this in real life along with a few other goodies that are on show from all the DT.

Until next time
Happi Scrappin'

Lowri - Christmas Cards (Gingerbread Collection)

Hi Everyone - Lowri here to share a couple of card ideas I couldn't squeeze in last week as the other ladies were so busy posting their fabulous ideas! I have created 2 cards using the Kasiercraft "Gingerbread" Collection.

Santa Card

This fun card has a simple step-base cut from plain cardstock and then I have used elements from the collection to decorate.

In addition to the Stickers and Collectables, I have used some Papervine Veneer Trees and Green Baker's  Twine to add some texture and dimension.

Merry Christmas Card

This card shows a completely different side to the Kasiercraft "Gingerbread" Collection.  The colors are bright and fun and so versatile for card making!

I hope you have enjoyed these ideas and don't forget to link up to all our fabulous Christmas Challenges!  See the Card Challenge information here.

Please post a comment with any questions :-)

Christine - Christmas Project Life

Hi there Christine here today. I have a couple of project life style pages to show you today using Kaisercraft's Santa's List collection......
This way of scrapbooking is so easy and quick, the Collectables make embellishing a breeze and I love to use my washi tape and metal trinkets from Papervine.
This page used the BH pocket page E - it has 4 6x6 squares. Just like doing mini layouts!

I am also showing you  some Christmas step cards I made using Kaisercraft's Christmas Carol Collection....

I really like making these cards and they stand up so nicely for display!

Hope you are enjoying the Christmas Countdown here at Artfull Crafts, it is certainly a wonderful time of the year!

Happy Creating!

Melissa - Christmas Cards & Kaisercraft Tea Break

Hello!  Can you believe its one month until Christmas today!!!

Today I'm sharing three cards and a tag that I made with a selection of product that each of the Design Team were given as a challenge.

Here are my cards:

I decided to make them on kraft card stock, as it went really well with the tones of the product.  The only thing I added from my stash were the red gems.  Here are each of the cards close up:

I'm really happy with how they turned out!

This month I was given some of the lovely Kaisercraft Tea Break.  I attended our annual Queenstown Scrap Camp earlier in the month, and it was awesome to meet Liz and Sharon (fellow DT member).  I was really inspired by Sharon's fabulous work with mixed media, and she challenged me to use some Gesso on my layouts.

Tea Break is such a beautiful feminine range, and I especially love the modern sayings paired with vintage imagery.

The first layout shows my kids with their cousins last Christmas, wearing brand new aprons.  Of course we had to make them pose for a photo!

On this one I painted on some gesso behind my photo, I love the subtle texture it adds.

The next layout is me with Sam when he was about 3 months old.  I look really tired in the photo, because well, I am!  I love to scrap everyday moments, and this is an accurate portrayal of a first time Mum with a new baby!  On this layout Sharon encouraged me to stamp directly on the wet gesso.

You can purchase Tea Break in the shop here.

Thanks for looking, all the best for your Christmas preparations, and see you again soon!

Valou - "Merry Christmas!"

Hello my friends!

Valou today for the post of inspiration.

I hope that you are well and that you are not too much cold. Here, it is very cold and the snow begins to fall by place in the country.

Christmas approaches very quickly now! It is the moment to share with you projects on Christmas.

I chose to realize a card 3-d "Poinsettia"!

To realize it, I have to use some paper " white Kaisercraft Cardstock " and some paper " green Kaisercraft Cardstock " only.

Four first parts are stuck they enter with the foam 3-d. Two others, as for them, are stuck with some glue " Silicone 3-d ".

I embossed certain parts with "Cuttlebug" and a file " Provocraft-Peas " and other parts, I embossed them under heat with some powder " Frantage - Shabby Blue ". All the parts are inked to the ink "Distress Tumbled Glass" and edges are then covered with "Glitter Stickels Silver".

Once all the flower was assembled, I added to the center a die-cut young realized with "Cuttlebug" and a dies " Spellbinders - Nestabilities Circle " and half a white pearly pearl.

I used an image " Magnolia Ice Skate " .

I colorized it in the following way:

- Ink " Distress Vintage Photo " and "Distress Tattered Rose" for the skin.
- Ink "Distress Tea Dye" and "Distress Vintage Photo" for hair.
- Ink "Distress Worm Lipstick" for the pink.
- Ink "Distress Tumbled Glass" for the blue.

- "Glitter Stickels Frosted Lace" for furs and underskirt.

I cut the image with scissors of precision and I stuck it with foam pieces 3-d.

Below, to the right, I stuck a pink rose, a blue rose and a small white pearl bouquet.

At the top, to the left, I added a bow that I realized with a piece of ribbon " white blue Organza ", a rose and white, a pink and cream rose  and two buttons of closed rose cream and pink.

All the flowers are covered with some touches of "Glitter Stickels Icicle".

The feeling is realized with the software "Word" and the police of writing "Watercolor". Any goshawk, I added little of "Glitter Stickels Icicle".

The foliages are realized in some " green Paper Kaisercraft Cardstock " then embossed with "Cuttlebug" and a file " Provocraft-Peas ". I added some white acrylic paint here and there.

And here is for today!

I wish you an excellent day and find you very soon with a new realization!

Have a lovely day!
